Cascade Engineering Technologies was formed in 1989 in Portland, Oregon to provide high quality, contract CMM inspection services to the Pacific Northwest. Since then Cascade has expanded to provide CMM services both nationally and globally. In addition to our metrology services such as First Article Inspections and Process Capability Studies we specialize in complex configurations, investigational analysis, and technical consulting.
Cascade moved to a new 15,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility in 2000. This facility houses an impressively large Metrology Lab and is joined with a precision machine shop containing Vertical and Horizontal Machining Center's that handle Cascade’s expansion into Specialized Machining Services.
We utilize only the finest equipment available, including coordinate measuring machines from Carl Zeiss and optical tools from Nikon and Optical Gaging Products. Measurement accuracies of 50 millionths of an inch, as well as a maximum work envelope of 60”x120”x50” provide capabilities for the most demanding dimensional inspection.
